Nervous system and stress-induced illnesses have a strong history throughout my family and my dads diagnosis with Parkinson's disease was a wake-up call as to just how much our body absorbs our experiences, emotions, routines and memories.
Studying the nervous system and the effects stress, trauma and our life experience have on our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing has ultimately led me to support individuals and communities through a foundation of breathwork, specializing in working with women as a Postpartum Doula.
To translate this practice from spirit to science, to help people understand and experience its benefits is my passion and to continue to see ongoing results is beyond rewarding. I continue to expand and apply my studies and certifications to educate, supervise, facilitate and support all from within a safe, purposeful space.
I like to say that breathwork has a way of connecting with you, as you are ready to receive it. There is only so much one can say, one can teach to explain the practice, as it is ultimately surrendering yourself, beginning to understand the essence of how it can shift and change not just how we look inward but also how we show up, move through and interact with the world around us.
